Kundalini Yoga ~ The Yoga of Awareness

as taught by Yogi Bhajan

Kundalini Yoga is a bright, beautiful and blissful experience of postures, mantras, relaxation, meditation and breath. Often referred to as the Yoga of Awareness, Kundalini Yoga is an opportunity for self discovery and growth. This form of yoga allows one to gain awareness and positively expand and balance as whole beings - body, mind and spirit.

Kundalini Yoga stimulates and revitalises your immune, nervous and glandular system while helping to rid the body of toxins and calming the mind.

Meditation

Meditation is a technique of becoming quiet and still inside, by repeatedly focusing awareness, for example, on your body or breath. With regular practice, you will discover peace within, beyond the chatter of your mind.

Meditation does not aim to suppress thoughts, but rather to distract the mind with the object of focus (such as body or breath). With regular practice, you can learn how to step back from your thoughts, and to watch them, undisturbed, from a place of stillness within.
